केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने द्विपक्षीय संबंधों को मजबूत करने, व्यापक रणनीतिक साझेदारी को बढ़ाने और वैश्विक संस्थागत निवेशकों को भारत की विकास गाथा से जोड़ने के लिए सिंगापुर की 3 दिवसीय आधिकारिक यात्रा शुरू की है।
केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने सिंगापुर की एक महत्वपूर्ण तीन दिवसीय आधिकारिक यात्रा शुरू की है। उनके कार्यक्रम में सिंगापुर के शीर्ष नेतृत्व के साथ उच्च स्तरीय राजनीतिक बैठकें और वैश्विक व्यापार तथा संस्थागत निवेश समुदाय के वरिष्ठ सदस्यों के साथ रणनीतिक चर्चाएं शामिल हैं।
- उच्च स्तरीय राजनयिक बैठकें: वित्त मंत्री सिंगापुर के राष्ट्रपति थर्मन शनमुगरत्नम और प्रधान मंत्री लॉरेंस वोंग से मुलाकात करेंगी। वह सिंगापुर के उप प्रधान मंत्री गान किम योंग और विदेश मंत्री डॉ. विवियन बालाकृष्णन से भी मिलेंगी।
- व्यापक रणनीतिक साझेदारी: चर्चा भारत-सिंगापुर रणनीतिक ढांचे को व्यापक बनाने पर केंद्रित होगी। प्रमुख क्षेत्रों में व्यापार और निवेश, डिजिटल वित्तीय कनेक्टिविटी, पूंजी बाजार, कराधान, सेमीकंडक्टर, उन्नत विनिर्माण और विमानन (aviation) में सहयोग शामिल है।
- वैश्विक पूंजी को आकर्षित करना: यात्रा का एक प्रमुख आर्थिक स्तंभ अग्रणी अंतरराष्ट्रीय निवेशकों के साथ जुड़ना है। सुश्री सीतारमण हेज फंड और पोर्टफोलियो फंड प्रबंधकों के साथ एक गोलमेज सम्मेलन और 'सरकार-से-व्यापार' (G2B) बैठकों की एक श्रृंखला आयोजित करेंगी।

Her itinerary is packed with high-level political engagements with the Singaporean leadership and strategic discussions with senior members of the global business and institutional investment community.
- High-Level Diplomatic Meetings: The Finance Minister will call on Singapore's President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. She is also scheduled to meet Deputy PM Gan Kim Yong and Foreign Minister Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan.
- Comprehensive Strategic Partnership: Discussions will focus on broadening the India-Singapore strategic framework. Key focal areas include cooperation in trade and investment, digital financial connectivity, capital markets, taxation, semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, and aviation.
