राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने विश्वास व्यक्त किया है कि युवाओं के प्रयासों से भारत 2047 से पहले ही एक विकसित राष्ट्र (Developed Nation) बन सकता है। उन्होंने यह टिप्पणी वडोदरा (गुजरात) में महाराजा सयाजीराव विश्वविद्यालय (MSU) के 75वें दीक्षांत समारोह को संबोधित करते हुए की।
- शिक्षा की भूमिका: राष्ट्रपति ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि शिक्षा तभी सार्थक होती है जब उसका उपयोग राष्ट्र और समाज की भलाई के लिए किया जाए। उन्होंने उच्च शिक्षा सहित विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में महिलाओं की बढ़ती भागीदारी की भी सराहना की।
- बहु-विषयक दृष्टिकोण (Multidisciplinary Approach): विश्व स्तर पर तकनीकी परिवर्तन की तेज गति को देखते हुए, उन्होंने आज की समकालीन चुनौतियों से निपटने के लिए एक 'बहु-विषयक दृष्टिकोण' को अचूक समाधान बताया।
- शैक्षणिक उपलब्धियां: इस प्रतिष्ठित समारोह (जिसमें राज्यपाल आचार्य देवव्रत भी उपस्थित थे) के दौरान, 12,600 से अधिक छात्रों को डिग्री प्रदान की गई और 160 मेधावी छात्रों को 201 स्वर्ण पदक दिए गए।
- आध्यात्मिक और युवा अभियान: दीक्षांत समारोह के अलावा, राष्ट्रपति ने वडोदरा में ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ के ग्लोबल स्पिरिचुअल पैलेस रिट्रीट सेंटर का उद्घाटन किया। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने "विश्व नवीनीकरण के लिए आध्यात्मिक जागरण" और "विकसित भारत के लिए युवा: राष्ट्र निर्माण के लिए आंतरिक शक्ति को जगाना" अभियान की भी शुरुआत की।
आध्यात्मिक मूल्यों के साथ बहु-विषयक आधुनिक शिक्षा को एकीकृत करके, सरकार समग्र युवा विकास (holistic youth development) पर ध्यान केंद्रित कर रही है। भारत के विशाल 'जनसांख्यिकीय लाभांश' (Demographic Dividend) को तकनीकी कौशल और मजबूत नैतिक मूल्यों के साथ सशक्त बनाना, 2047 से पहले 'आत्मनिर्भरता' और 'विकसित भारत' की ओर देश की यात्रा को गति देने वाला प्राथमिक उत्प्रेरक (catalyst) माना जा रहा है।

Addressing the 75th convocation of MSU Baroda, President Droupadi Murmu emphasized youth empowerment, multidisciplinary education, and spiritual awakening to achieve a 'Viksit Bharat' even before the 2047 target.
President Droupadi Murmu expressed strong confidence that India can achieve its goal of becoming a developed nation prior to 2047. She made these remarks while addressing the 75th convocation ceremony of The Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) of Baroda in Vadodara, Gujarat.
- Role of Education: The President underscored that education achieves its true meaning only when it is actively utilized for the betterment of the nation and society. She also lauded the increasing participation of women across diverse fields, including higher education.
- Multidisciplinary Approach: Noting the rapid pace of technological transformation globally, she advocated for a multidisciplinary approach as the definitive solution to tackling contemporary global and domestic challenges.
- Academic Milestones: During the prestigious ceremony (also attended by Governor Acharya Devvrat), degrees were conferred upon more than 12,600 students, and 201 gold medals were awarded to 160 exceptional achievers.
- Spiritual & Youth Campaigns: Beyond the convocation, the President inaugurated the Brahma Kumaris’ Global Spiritual Palace Retreat Centre in Vadodara and launched key campaigns: "Spiritual Awakening for World Renewal" and "Youth for Viksit Bharat: Awakening Inner Strength for Nation Building".
By integrating multidisciplinary modern education with spiritual grounding, the government is focusing on holistic youth development. Empowering India's massive demographic dividend with both technical skills and strong moral values is seen as the primary catalyst for accelerating the nation's trajectory towards 'Aatmanirbharta' and a 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India) before 2047.
