विदेश राज्य मंत्री कीर्ति वर्धन सिंह भारत-सऊदी रणनीतिक संबंधों को मजबूत करने के लिए 4 दिवसीय यात्रा पर रियाद पहुंचे। इस दौरान मानव संसाधन, जलवायु परिवर्तन और भारतीय प्रवासियों के कल्याण पर चर्चा होगी।
विदेश राज्य मंत्री (MoS) कीर्ति वर्धन सिंह 4 दिवसीय द्विपक्षीय यात्रा पर रियाद (सऊदी अरब) पहुंच गए हैं। उनका आधिकारिक स्वागत भारतीय राजदूत विपुल और सऊदी अरब के मानव संसाधन एवं सामाजिक विकास मंत्रालय के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मामलों के उप मंत्री डॉ. तारिक अल हमद ने किया।
- पहली आधिकारिक यात्रा: यह श्री सिंह की सऊदी अरब की पहली आधिकारिक यात्रा है, जिसका उद्देश्य भारत और सऊदी अरब के बीच बहुआयामी रणनीतिक साझेदारी (Strategic Partnership) को आगे बढ़ाना है।
- उच्च स्तरीय मंत्रिस्तरीय संवाद: मंत्री मानव संसाधन, सामाजिक विकास, विदेश मामलों, जलवायु, जल और कृषि सहित कई प्रमुख क्षेत्रों के सऊदी अधिकारियों के साथ महत्वपूर्ण बैठकें करेंगे।
- प्रवासी और श्रमिक कल्याण: विदेशों में रहने वाले भारतीय नागरिकों के प्रति सरकार की अटूट प्रतिबद्धता को दोहराते हुए, श्री सिंह भारतीय समुदाय, श्रमिकों, पेशेवरों और व्यापारिक नेताओं के साथ व्यापक बातचीत करेंगे।
- पारस्परिक हितों का विस्तार: यह एजेंडा पारंपरिक ऊर्जा संबंधों से आगे बढ़कर मुख्य रूप से आधुनिक कौशल विकास (skill development), जलवायु परिवर्तन और पर्यावरण सहयोग पर केंद्रित है।
सऊदी अरब में 24 लाख से अधिक भारतीय प्रवासियों का घर है। जलवायु कार्रवाई के साथ-साथ मानव संसाधन विकास और श्रम कल्याण पर चर्चा को प्राथमिकता देकर, भारत मध्य पूर्व में अपने रणनीतिक प्रभाव का विस्तार करने के साथ-साथ अपने कार्यबल (workforce) के सामाजिक-आर्थिक हितों को सुरक्षित कर रहा है।

Minister of State for External Affairs, Kirti Vardhan Singh, arrived in Riyadh for a four-day visit to strengthen India-Saudi strategic ties, focusing on human resources, climate change, and diaspora welfare.
Minister of State (MoS) for External Affairs, Kirti Vardhan Singh, has commenced a four-day bilateral visit to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He was officially received by Indian Ambassador Vipul and Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister for International Affairs, Dr. Tariq Al Hamad.
- First Official Visit: This marks Mr. Singh’s first official trip to the Kingdom, aimed at advancing the multifaceted strategic partnership between India and Saudi Arabia.
- High-Level Ministerial Dialogues: The Minister will hold crucial meetings with Saudi dignitaries across multiple sectors, including Human Resources, Social Development, Foreign Affairs, Climate, Water, and Agriculture.
- Diaspora & Worker Welfare: Reaffirming the Government’s unwavering commitment to its overseas citizens, Mr. Singh will interact extensively with the Indian community, including blue-collar workers, professionals, and business leaders.
- Diversifying Mutual Interests: The core agenda extends beyond traditional energy ties, focusing heavily on modern skill development, climate change resilience, and environmental cooperation.
Saudi Arabia hosts a massive Indian diaspora of over 2.4 million people.
