विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर ने पोलैंड और यूक्रेन की अपनी कूटनीतिक यात्रा के दौरान स्पष्ट किया कि भारत संघर्ष को समाप्त करने के लिए दोनों देशों के साथ लगातार संपर्क में है और कूटनीति व संवाद का समर्थन करता है।
विदेश मंत्री डॉ. एस. जयशंकर ने कहा है कि मौजूदा संकट को कम करने के लिए भारत यूक्रेन और रूस दोनों के साथ लगातार संपर्क में है। यह टिप्पणी उन्होंने कीव (यूक्रेन) की यात्रा के बाद वारसॉ में पोलैंड के उप प्रधान मंत्री और विदेश मंत्री राडोस्लाव सिकोरस्की (Radosław Sikorski) के साथ एक संयुक्त प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के दौरान की।
- संघर्ष पर भारत का रुख: डॉ. जयशंकर ने दृढ़ता से दोहराया कि "अंतहीन युद्धों की जगह युद्ध की समाप्ति होनी चाहिए।" उन्होंने जोर दिया कि युद्ध में कोई विजेता नहीं होता, इससे केवल वैश्विक विनाश होता है। भारत संवाद और कूटनीति को बढ़ावा देने के लिए पूरी तरह से प्रतिबद्ध है।
- यूक्रेन में चर्चा: वारसॉ से पहले, विदेश मंत्री ने कीव में यूक्रेनी राष्ट्रपति वलोडिमिर ज़ेलेंस्की और विदेश मंत्री एंड्री सिबिहा के साथ उच्च स्तरीय वार्ता की। राष्ट्रपति ज़ेलेंस्की ने युद्ध समाप्त करने की दिशा में भारत की प्रतिबद्धता के लिए आभार व्यक्त किया।
- भारत-पोलैंड द्विपक्षीय संबंध: पोलैंड में, वार्ता में खाद्य, ईंधन और उर्वरक सुरक्षा सहित जटिल वैश्विक चुनौतियों को शामिल किया गया। दोनों देशों ने संयुक्त कार्य योजना (Joint Action Plan) 2024-28 की प्रगति की भी समीक्षा की, जो रक्षा, व्यापार, निवेश और सांस्कृतिक सहयोग पर केंद्रित है।
- पोलिश राष्ट्रपति से मुलाकात: डॉ. जयशंकर ने पश्चिम एशिया की स्थिति, यूक्रेन संघर्ष और द्विपक्षीय रणनीतिक साझेदारी को गहरा करने पर विचार साझा करने के लिए पोलैंड के राष्ट्रपति कारोल नवरोकी (Karol Nawrocki) से भी मुलाकात की।
मास्को और कीव दोनों के साथ भारत का कूटनीतिक जुड़ाव इसकी अनूठी भू-राजनीतिक स्थिति और 'रणनीतिक स्वायत्तता' (Strategic Autonomy) को रेखांकित करता है। मध्यस्थता की पेशकश करके और मानवीय प्रभावों (खाद्य और ईंधन सुरक्षा) पर ध्यान केंद्रित करके, नई दिल्ली एक जिम्मेदार वैश्विक शांति निर्माता और 'ग्लोबल साउथ' की आवाज के रूप में अपनी भूमिका मजबूत कर रहा है।

During his diplomatic visits to Ukraine and Poland, EAM S. Jaishankar reiterated India's commitment to dialogue and diplomacy, stating that India is in continuous touch with both nations to help end the conflict.
External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar stated that India is in continuous contact with both Ukraine and Russia to mitigate the ongoing crisis. The remarks were made during a joint press conference with Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski in Warsaw, following his visit to Kyiv.
- Stance on the Conflict: Dr. Jaishankar strongly reiterated that "endless war must give way to an end to war," emphasizing that wars yield no winners and only lead to global destruction. India remains fully committed to promoting dialogue and diplomacy.
- Discussions in Ukraine: Prior to Warsaw, the EAM held high-level talks in Kyiv with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. President Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for India's commitment to ending the war.
- India-Poland Bilateral Ties: In Poland, talks covered complex global challenges including food, fuel, and fertilizer security. Both nations reviewed the progress of the Joint Action Plan 2024-28, which focuses on defense, trade, investment, and cultural cooperation.
- High-Level Polish Meetings: Dr. Jaishankar also called on Polish President Karol Nawrocki to exchange views on the West Asia situation, the Ukraine conflict, and deepening the bilateral Strategic Partnership.
