The much-awaited 6-lane Kachhi Dargah-Bidupur bridge over the Ganga river is set for completion by June end 2026. Built at a cost of ₹4,988 crore with ADB support, this 19.76-km project will serve as a crucial link between North and South Bihar, connecting Patna to Vaishali.

गंगा नदी पर बना 6 लेन का बहुप्रतीक्षित कच्ची दरगाह-बिदुपुर पुल जून के अंत तक चालू हो जाएगा। लगभग ₹4,988 करोड़ की लागत और एशियाई विकास बैंक (ADB) के सहयोग से बना यह 19.76 किमी लंबा प्रोजेक्ट पटना और वैशाली को जोड़ेगा, जिससे उत्तर और दक्षिण बिहार की कनेक्टिविटी मजबूत होगी।

- इंजीनियरिंग का अद्भुत नमूना: यह किसी नदी पर बना भारत का सबसे लंबा एक्स्ट्राडोज्ड केबल-स्टेड (extradosed cable-stayed) पुल है। इसके केबल दक्षिण कोरिया से मंगाए गए हैं।

यह पुल शुरू होने से वैशाली, समस्तीपुर और दरभंगा जाने का समय काफी कम हो जाएगा और यह पटना के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण ईस्टर्न बाईपास का काम करेगा। इससे पुराने महात्मा गांधी सेतु पर ट्रैफिक का भारी दबाव कम होगा। इसके अलावा, राघोपुर दियारा क्षेत्र के लोगों को अब मॉनसून के दौरान खतरनाक नाव यात्रा नहीं करनी पड़ेगी, जिससे वहां व्यापार, कृषि और पर्यटन को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।
